The standard RunTime programs, RTP and RTI, are also included, so that applications that are not 386/DOS-Extender compatible can still run on the same network as the 386/DOS-Extender RunTime. This allows for any combination of 386/DOS-Extender and standard RunTime users, up to the available user limit on network installations.
The Phar Lap 386/DOS-Extender environment is automatically started when the Niakwa 386 RunTime programs are executed (RTI386 or RTP386).
NOTE: There are several configuration switches that can be used with the Niakwa 386 RunTime to configure the 386/DOS-Extender environment. However, these configuration settings are highly application-dependent and should only be used with direct guidance from your Authorized Niakwa Distributor.
All other operating considerations are the same as those for the standard MS-DOS Niakwa RunTime.
