Many of the application programs are developed to work with many different keyboard styles and capabilities. Some of the keys requested by these programs may not be labeled in the same way on the keyboard. To resolve this, the capability for application programmers to define the keys that perform the functions required by the program is included. If the application program uses this feature, documentation of the equivalent keys is included with the application documentation.
A set of default keyboard equivalences that the application program may use is also incorporated. Unless advised differently by your Authorized Niakwa Distributor, assume that these equivalences are to be used:
