Choosing Type of Setup - Workstation

Step 6. When prompted to "Choose Destination Location", accept the default or choose another local directory.

Step 7. When prompted for "Setup Type", choose "Client".

WARNING: Windows 2000 Pro, NT Workstation, and XP clients will default to the "Server" setup type - this is normal. Setup type "Client" must be manually chosen for these workstations.

Note: Choose "Custom" only under specific direction from your Authorized NPL Distributor.

The "Client" installation will install a number of programs on the system, and some icons in the NPL Group / Submenu. It also installs and activates the NPLSecure Client.

Note: Pre-existing icons in this Group are not removed, yet they may no longer be functional.

NOTE: If the system DLL ATL.DLL is already installed on a machine, but is older than the version installed by "Client Setup", SETUP may require a reboot before NPL can become operational.
