NPL V FOR SCO UNIX RELEASED
Niakwa is happy to announce NPL V for SCO Unix and NDM V for SCO Unix, and their availability as part of the Niakwa Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
NPL Release V for SCO Unix includes all of the new and enhanced features introduced in NPL Revision 4.3 and 5.0 as they pertain to the SCO Unix environment, and some of these additional features are:
NEW! Year 2000 Readiness
NEW! Open NDM for TCP/IP
NEW! Syntax Enhancements
And more!

The NPL Revision 5.01 for SCO Unix RunTime was available for purchase as of June 30, 1999. The Revision 5.01 IDE CD-ROM will be shipped at no charge to all renewed resellers in July.
Please note: resellers who use C-ISAM must re-link their rtic.exe using the new 5.01 BESDK. Please remember that Niakwa cannot legally link and distribute this file - resellers must do it themselves. (On the plus side, it isn't difficult, and we can also talk you through it.) The BESDK will be on the 5.01 IDE CD-ROM, but can be obtained immediately by contacting support@niakwa.com.
Revision 5.01 will replace Revision 4.22 for all new sales and upgrades as of September 1, 1999. Replacements for Revision 4.22 will be available through December 1999.
NIAKWA OFFICES CLOSED THE AFTERNOON OF FRIDAY, JULY 16TH
Every year, in appreciation for the dedication and hard work of its employees, Niakwa sponsors a company picnic to thank them. This year the picnic is on Friday, July 16th. This means that Niakwa will be closing at 12:00pm. We would greatly appreciate the chance to ship any international orders as well as domestic orders on Thursday for you. Of course, in the case of an emergency, we will do our best to accommodate any Friday shipments. Our normal shipping will resume on Monday, July 19th.
