One of the items on the 5.01 IDE is the new Open NDM for SQL Beta test software. Naturally, being a Beta version product, we are interested in your feedback before it becomes a Final version. Thus we would appreciate your response to the following questions: Have you used this software? With what databases? We are looking for any comments you might have, including bugs, suggestions, and anything else you can think of. Please let us know if you are using the software, be it successfully or unsuccessfully, at support@niakwa.com Many thanks and warm wishes for a Happy New Year!
WINDOWS 98 AND NPL V As more and more people convert to Windows 98, Niakwa would like to restate their policies regarding Windows and NPL. The only RunTime Niakwa will officially certify for use with Windows 98 is the 32-bit Windows RunTime (NPL Release V). Niakwa will not perform support when prior releases are being used in Windows 98. Incompatibilities or bugs will only be corrected in the NPL V 32-bit Windows RunTime. Niakwa will adopt the same position regarding Windows 2000. NOTE: Be advised that Niakwa is aware of 16-bit applications, including but not limited to NPL Release IV, causing severe problems such as system crashes when used in Windows 98. These problems are caused by flaws in the way Windows 98 handles 16-bit applications and are beyond Niakwa's control. We also recommend that an NT workstation be used in preference to Win98 in a business environment wherever vendors have the option. |
