Volume 4 No. 19 Community News & Information October 18, 2000 In this Issue: * NIAKWA SUPPORTS WINDOWS ME! Today Niakwa announces it officially supports Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows ME! We tested the final edition of Windows ME. Our most rigorous testing was performed in the most recent maintenance release, version 5.01.27. However, rudimentary tests were also performed on field release version 5.01.07 with no apparent differences. We observed no unusual behavior. The good news for everyone is that Windows ME will be supported with all NPL Release V Windows versions! Note: as with Windows 98 and Windows 2000, only Release V is supported, Release IV is not. If you experience any unusual behavior using Release V on Windows ME, please let us know at support@niakwa.com. |
