What do your applications do?

I know there are some interesting applications out there.  I think it would be neat to see how creative you guys really are.  If you've written a cool application, go ahead and tell the world.

Okay, I'll be first...

... I write a lot of neat stuff ...  but mostly for specific situations that may not seem exciting as a standalone...

I suppose the truly standalone app that I am most happy with is a "label designer".  The concept is hardly original... I fashioned the interface after a DOS program called LabelRight.  Written completely in NPL, it is completely platform independent.  It uses native files to store label designs.  It used HP-PCL to do the printing, which includes boxes, barcodes, and graphics... it can be run manually or in batch mode via a text input file... and it can run as an "include" too... thus allowing integration into AIMS, SPEED, or custom code without having to actually code mingle.

One of my SuperDOS users has been using it for the last seven years... oh... did I mention... I am the king of SuperDOS!

laters,
Brian
